On February 20th it was celebrated in San Sebastian the “Foro del Empleo” (Employment Forum) that is organized every year by the Engineering College of the Navarra University (Tecnum). This year, the Forum has arrived to its 20th edition with the motto of “Innovation and Entrepeneurship, engines for employment”. The event was presided by Prince Philip and also the President of Basque Government, Mr. Urkullu, President of Basque Parliament, Ms. Tejería, State Secretary for the Public Administration, Mr. Beteta, and the Principal of the Navarra University , Mr. Sánchez-Tabernero, were present among many other key people were attending the acts.


Fagor Arrasate was present at the Forum with a booth introducing the strong reality of the company as well as the high technological level to the students, values that has transformed Fagor in one of the most important companies of the world and one of the most dynamic growing enormously during the last years. In the morning a full introduction of Fagor Arrasate was explained to visitors while in the afternoon numerous meetings and interviews were held among the many students of the last course who were interested in having a professional career in Fagor, as employees, in senior thesis, masters or forming practices within the company.
Assistance of young engineers and students was important what is very satisfactory for us and is a prove of how our company appeals for the professional and human development for the candidates. Tecnum made a really good organization of the events.
