This consolidates its position as a benchmark in aluminium with a giant of the sector

Fagor Arrasate will install a complete cut-to-length line (CTL) for one of the biggest aluminium producers in China, to be used for the aerospace industry.
This is the second installation of this type supplied by Fagor Arrasate at one of the biggest primary aluminium and alumina (aluminium oxide) producers of the Asian giant.
With this line, there are now five aluminium lines ordered from Fagor Arrasate in China, which is a great success for the company and a step forward in its strategy of consolidation as the benchmark in cutting and processing lines in the booming aluminium world.
The cut-to-length line orders achieved by Fagor Arrasate in China up until now have been destined for the automotive industry, but this new line for the aerospace sector opens up a wide range of opportunities for the company in this important sector.
With this order, Fagor Arrasate has known how to transfer its expertise in the automotive world to the aerospace sector, through the introduction of some of its innovations, such as a high energy efficiency vacuum stacker, a quick change shearing die and its own highly advanced automation systems.
This technical and technological superiority in the cutting and processing of aluminium is the reason why this important customer has put their confidence in Fagor Arrasate again, with solutions that offer high productivity with the highest product quality standards.
This know-how and the growing number of references in the country show the strength of Fagor Arrasate’s commitment to expansion in China, where it has a manufacturing and assembly plant in Kunshan, near Shanghai, in addition to the offices in this city and Beijing.
