In the present edition of the, Fagor will make special emphasis in showing and presenting to our Customers the new development of the Company, a firm that dedicates a 3% of its sales to Research and Development every year and collaborates with several Research Centers in the World and on its own (as the Techological Center KONIKER). Particularly, Fagor will show the following new products:

- Advanced servopresses. On the contrary of the conventional presses, the servopresses rely on special motors to move the slide up and down in a totally free manner without the necessity of having a flaywheel. This makes that a servopress, although it is a mechanical press, can work as a hydraulic press moving the slide freely and even stopping it at will. With these new machines, much more complex parts can be produced and the flexibility in production is dramatically improved. Also, a higher production is obtained as the working motion can be exactly adapted to the job.
- Press hardening or a quenching process made simultaneously with the stamping. Now, more and more cars are needed parts that are stamped and also very hard (over 1500 Mpa) and this can be done with a high productivity in a press hardening system. The core of the installation is the special die that stamps and quench the material at the same time as well as the press that does the work. Fagor is one of the few players in this field nowadays.
- Tension leveling lines, specially developed for high speed, delicate metals like aluminum or thin exposed steel. The new tension leveling lines are fully programmable and automated. They have systems for the quick set up and maximum productivity. They can be combined with degreasing and cleaning sections as well as oiling, edge trimming or marking zones.
- Skin passes, both for a direct work, skin passing steel or aluminum or to be introduced in a cut-to-length line to improve very much the flatness of the line.
- Advanced pickling lines. Fagor will introduce a new push pull pickling line for 16 mm that has been recently installed in Europe and that it is one of the biggest in the continent.
- Reversible mini mills, specially studied to reduce the investment and allow many Customers to afford a kind of rolling equipment that usually was out of their possibilities.
- Variable roll forming, a state-of-the art technology specially aimed to the automotive sector.
- Lines specialized in processing electric steel as rotor stator laminations or transformer’s sheets.
- Stretch levelers, a new system that gets a perfect flatness, tension free blanks for laser cutting, in thickness up to 25 mm.
